| As for the "reasons
for leaving" prognostic, most of them are very favorable or
favorable (85%), being only 15% unfavorable or reserved. These results
are very encouraging for the families and Bible Home personnel. |
Historical facts
1932: The first
8 children entered the Roblealto estate.
1937: Opened the Henry Strachan school on the same
property of the Bible Home.
1967-1969: The director and social worker of the Bible
Home envisioned and implemented a broad plan for day care programming
in Costa Rica.
1967: Initiated a modest Avicultural Farm, which is
the foundation of the current Production Projects (a farm that generates
revenue for Roblealto’s programs).
1972-2000: Construction of the 8 houses that lodge
80 children.
1982: Expanded the services of the school with special
attention to social and psychological services and the inauguration
of a new building.
2002: Roblealto's Bible Home celebrated its 70th
Anniversary.
2003: There is presently housing for 80 children, which we would
like to expand to 90 in medium term.
