A desperate community of 25,000 where children live among gangs, drugs, prostitution and violence. Houses made of scrap wood and corrugated metal over a dirt floor. No sewer system; sporatic electricity and water supplies. Child labor, dropping out of school, no safe place for children while mothers work. This is the Los Guido community....

Bringing a Hope and a Future to the Children of Los Guido
Roblealto Association wants to build a child care center for 250 children on land granted in the Los Guido community. This will be the largest of Roblealto's child care centers. When completed, the center will include 12 classrooms, a computer lab, covered and open playgrounds, a full-service kitchen, a multi-purpose cafeteria for 500 people, offices and handicap-accessible facilities. There is also a designated space for community events.
This child care center and its ministry will dramatically change the lives of children and their families. It will offer hope to children providing:
- Security and safety

- Nourishment
- Education
- Christian teaching
- Medical attention
- Supervision so mothers can work
- Healing treatment for families
The first phase of this project (estimated at $600,000) will be land preparation and the building of the foundation of the child care center.
