Bible Home at Roblealto

The temporary residence Hogar Biblico (Bible Home) focuses on the healthy development of children. The Bible Home works with children from homes with extreme family problems. For many of the children, it is simply not safe to live with their families at this time. There are eight homes run by house parents serving over 80 children ages 4-12. These house parents are role models that re-enforce the ideal of a healthy stable home. In the homes, the children receive structure and rules to improve behavior and learn how to live in a healthy, safe family. They also receive Bible instruction and have devotional times with their house families. During the day, the children attend the Enrique Strachan School that is on-site.

While the children are being assisted at the Bible Home, their families work with an interdisciplinary team of specialists. The families receive treatment and learn how to become a healthy, stable family unit so that in a short time (1 to 3 years) the children can return to live with their own families.
